You've got my number
I like when I realize the expiration date on all the food in my fridge is coming due at the same time. It's a natural catalyst for culinary creativity.

Julia Childs got nothin' on me at the end of the month.

It's kinda sad that the highlight of my day is remembering all the sundry passwords I'm forced to use to log onto every damn thing at work. Passwords that I'm constantly being asked to change on a semi-daily basis it seems. Of course, systems remember all my old passwords, so heaven forbid I try to use one of those again. So really, not only are they forcing me to remember all my current passwords - but all of my old ones since the dawn of time as well so I can avoid getting the "You Already Used That One, Idiot." message box whenever I'm forced to change my password.

While I'm in the ranting mood - why is that whenever I join something new on the internet that requires me to invent a user name, it always says that any variation of my name that I try is already taken? How can this be, after hours and hours of fruitless internet searches have already yielded that I am the only one with my name in the tri-galaxy area?

In fact - that's a small part of the reason I even chose the moniker Amishboy for this place - it was the first arbitrary word that popped into my head after learning that all other variations of my name were taken. Go figure. I must sleep walk, and get on the internet and "join" things just to piss the awake me off.

What was I talking about? Oh yeah, so I or all of us deserve medals or something for remembering all the passwords, pin#s, SSN, tele#s, co-worker tele#s, and everything else associated with us that we might be forced to regurgitate instantly at any given second.

Oh yeah, it's also sad that another highlight of my day is simply seeing if I can ride the elevator all the way down to the lobby without it stopping for anyone else. That brings me no end of pleasure at the end of the day.

It happened today. Ahh, time to go kick-back and relax with a cool Nourishe.
