The Verdict
Case Dismissed! Charges dropped!
I can't say too much on my trial right now because I'm emotionally drained and in mid-celebration {read: drinking}, but in the end, there actually was no trial to speak of. The cop got cold feet at sight of my parade of witnesses and support and asked my lawyer pre-trial that I apologize and let him chastize me in exchange for dropping the charges. Which I did. Case closed.
My life begins anew tomorrow. I have all night to think about where I may go - but secretly - I know already....
